Swap, bridge and limit orders

Open the Trade tab. Choose Swap to trade on one network, Bridge to move assets between networks, or Limit to trade at a price you set.

  1. In Select token, choose the token you pay with and the token you want. Choosing a token on a different network switches to Bridge.

  2. Enter the amount.

  3. Check the quote: the Provider (the best quote is marked Best), Est. swap duration, Slippage and Est network fee. Select the provider to compare the others.

  4. Select Review. Review order shows what you pay, Est. received, Min received and the network fee.

  5. Select Confirm. If the token needs permission to be spent first, M5wallet runs an approval step before the swap.

The settings icon opens Advanced settings:

  • Slippage: keep Auto, or choose Custom to set your own tolerance. High slippage can lose you money; very low slippage can make the trade fail.
  • Custom recipient: send what you receive to another address.
  • Manage swap provider and Manage bridge provider: choose which providers M5wallet asks for quotes.

On EVM networks, Limit places an order that fills when the market reaches your Limit price. Set Order expires in, and choose whether to allow a Partial fill. Native coins such as ETH can’t be sold with a limit order.

The clock icon opens your trades. Switch between Market and Limit order at the top. You can cancel an open limit order with Cancel order.
