Get your referral code

Anyone signed in with an M5wallet ID can invite friends.

Open Referral

1. Sign in with Google to create your M5wallet ID. See Sign in with Google.

2. Open Referral:

   • Phone app (Android and iPhone): select the grid icon at the top right, then Referral.
   • Desktop app, browser extension and web app: select the Referral tab. In a narrow window the tabs are along the bottom.

   In the phone, desktop and extension apps you can also open your M5wallet ID page and select Refer a Friend.

Copy and share your code

Your Referral code and Referral link are at the top of Referral. Your first code has 8 characters. Your link is https://app.m5wallet.com/r/ followed by your code.

• To copy your code or your link, select the copy icon next to it.
• To send it with another app, select Share.

Your friend can open the link, or enter the code in M5wallet. Codes aren’t case-sensitive. To show your friend what to do, send them Use a referral code.

Share it honestly

Don’t spam your link, don’t present yourself as M5wallet, and don’t bid on M5wallet’s name in search ads. These break the Referral Program Terms, and rewards that come from them can be cancelled.

Create more codes

You can have up to 10 codes, including your first one. Separate codes show where your friends come from, for example one code for a video and another for a newsletter.

1. In Referral, open your list of codes and select Create code.

2. Add a note so you remember where you use the code. A note can be up to 100 characters.

For each code, the list shows its note, the date you created it and how many wallets are linked to it.

Rename a code

You can rename each code once. The new code must have 3 to 15 letters or numbers, and nobody else can already be using it.

1. In your list of codes, choose the code and select Edit referral code.

2. Enter the new code and confirm.

Your old code keeps working in links you’ve already shared, and wallets linked to it stay linked.

Track your referrals

Referral also shows your level, your pending and available rewards, and the wallets linked to your codes. To download your rewards as a CSV file, select Export.
