Connect to dApps
When a website asks to use your wallet, M5wallet opens a request for you to review.
Connection requests
Section titled “Connection requests”Connection request shows the site’s address and lets you choose the network and the account to share. Once connected, the site can see that account’s balance and activity and send you requests. Select Approve to connect or Cancel to refuse.
Before you approve, check the site’s address letter by letter.
Signature requests
Section titled “Signature requests”Signature request shows the message to sign. Select View raw message to see exactly what you’re signing. Some request types carry an extra warning; see Stay safe from scams. Select Confirm only if you trust the site.
Transaction requests
Section titled “Transaction requests”A site’s transaction opens Transaction confirm, the same screen you use to send crypto. The fee may be marked Suggested by dApp.
Manage connected sites
Section titled “Manage connected sites”- In any view: go to Settings → Security → Connected sites. Remove all disconnects every site.
- In the popup and side panel: when the current tab’s site is connected, a bar at the bottom of the Wallet tab shows it. Select the bar for Disconnect or Manage dApp connections.
Default wallet
Section titled “Default wallet”If you have more than one wallet extension, go to Settings → Preferences → Default wallet settings and turn on Set M5wallet as Default Wallet. To leave a particular site out, right-click a blank area of that page and select Cancel the default on this dApp.
M5wallet also works with sites that support WalletConnect.
